The 6 tools I never create content without
Idea capture, content structure, and polish—made simple
No matter how the tools and technology shift around us, marketing still boils down to putting the right message in front of the right person.
This week, we’re looking at powerful ways to get sharper and more intentional with how you communicate your message—and who it’s for.
Today’s agenda:
💥 How to use LinkedIn for lead gen
🔄 Turn your ideas into compelling content
🎯 Should you use “hypertargeting”?
💼 Briefly: AI for productivity, creative videos, B2B webinars, & more
⏱️ Up & coming: The evolution of web traffic in 2025
💪 LinkedIn is built for lead gen
Unlike most other social platforms in 2025, LinkedIn doesn’t prioritize flashy visuals or massive follower counts.
Instead, this business-focused platform rewards value-driven, experience-based content.
🏋️ How to build a high-impact LinkedIn strategy
If your content resonates, LinkedIn expands your reach automatically.
My simple, consistent strategy includes a mix of:
Short-form videos
First-person lessons
Industry commentary
The goal isn’t to be trendy—it’s to be helpful to your specific audience.

⬇️ Get your content to convert
Remember, organic strategies are a long game. With consistency, LinkedIn will begin to understand who you’re writing to—and connect you.
However, even the best content can’t convert without compelling CTAs (calls to action):
Download a lead magnet
Subscribe to a newsletter
See a case study, demo, etc.
Start with a consistent publishing rhythm and clear next steps.
🤙 Schedule a call with me and I’ll help you build a strategy that works for your audience and goals.
📓 Capturing tools for entrepreneurs
Good ideas rarely wait until you’re sitting at your desk, ready to capture them.
In my latest video, I explain the Entrepreneur’s Content System—the simple but powerful plan you can use to guarantee your best ideas turn into high-impact content:
⚒️ Tools you’ll need:
Pocket notebook or smartphone for jotting down your ideas
Dedicated thinking notebook for fleshing out ideas or outlining content structures/talking points
Spark File for organizing, categorizing, and linking notes
Google Docs to draft and collaborate
Run your completed drafts through ChatGPT and Grammarly to polish your content and make it really shine.

🎯 Would hypertargeting work for you?
Hypertargeting is basically next-level targeting that focuses on “hyper-specific audience niches,” according to CMO Mark Lamplugh.
Here’s how Lamplugh illustrates targeting vs. hypertargeting:
Targeting: Fitness enthusiasts
Hypertargeting: 30-35-year-old women in Seattle who run marathons and follow plant-based diets
Hypertargeting is a result of data from, well, everywhere: social media, browsing history, purchase patterns, and location-specific activity.
🤔 Should you use it?
The benefits of hypertargeting are clear: You’ll be able to craft ultra-relevant, ultra-personalized campaigns that directly speak to your audience.
But, getting all that data can be costly and time-consuming.
Lamplugh shared his process for understanding whether this strategy can work for you:
How broad or niche is your offering?
Who are you targeting? Does this group have a super-clear, super-specific need?
Do you have enough data on your customers to be able to tightly define them?
Can you afford the tools/team you need to execute a hypertargeting strategy?
🔬 If the answer isn’t clear, keep gathering data and testing out more broad vs. more targeted campaigns to track response. As with any strategy, balance is best.

What is AI going to do to your website traffic?
Digital analytics expert Alan K'necht says the better question may be, “What has AI already done to your traffic?”
A drop in search traffic may seem like impending doom, but K'necht believes some of this lost traffic could just be categorized differently in your analytics.
