✅ Your biggest goals require solid planning
Entrepreneurs are naturally inclined to have ambitious goals—but may not be as inclined to lay out the plans required to accomplish them.
Allison Maslan, serial entrepreneur and business mentor, has helped CEOs bring their big goals to life for over 20 years. She has found success with the SCALEit Method for breaking down the big picture into achievable segments.
🤔 This strategy involves:
A clear vision about where you want your business to be by the end of the year
Alignment with the 5 pillars of growth: strategic vision, cash flow, team alignment, leadership, and execution
Breaking your goals into your major milestones and smaller actions that build up to the milestones
Maslan writes that although it’s common for entrepreneurs to want to achieve everything at once, this approach will scatter your focus and slow down your progress.
Simple, clear, and actionable goals are the key to success.

💟 Living and sharing your brand values
Consumers in 2025 want to know what their favorite brands care about.
According to HubSpot’s consumer trends report, 82% of consumers want to buy from brands that share their values.
Inclusive marketing strategist and consultant Sonia Thompson says that despite its importance, most brands don’t do a good job of sharing their values. But those that do it well, hit it out of the park.
How are brand values communicated?
Thompson said businesses typically develop their values when they’re creating their mission or purpose.
The brands that do it best highlight their values via social media and website content.
Top brand examples include:
Ben & Jerry’s: Highlight their activism in their website hero image, on their Instagram profile, and in a playlist on TikTok
Patagonia: Donates 1% of sales to its causes, and highlights its activism on its website
The Home Depot: Its Retool Your School Program has provided grants to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) for 15 years
Share how you live out your brand’s values to find your audience.
